History
We focus on the desires of our customers and develop successful customised concepts in a confiding cooperation with our customers. As a medium-sized company, we are capable of working flexibly based on different requirements to execute both exclusive small series and large orders quickly and reliably.
Our history began in 1883 with the foundation of the family business by Wilhelm Otto Duesberg in Dorsten, Germany, where mostly chemical and technical products were produced. Over the years, we started to focus on the production of cosmetic products.
In 1993, the subsidiary Dr. Duesberg Medical GmbH moved to its new location in Dorsten-Wulfen, Germany, where modern production facilities, an in-house R&D department and a high rack warehouse had been built. Since then, the name Duesberg became a synonym for innovation, quality, responsibility, flexibility, and individuality in the cosmetics industry.
After the change of name to Duesberg medical GmbH in 2008, the company was restructured. Today, more than 100 employees at Duesberg are engaged in the development, production, filling and packaging of cosmetic products.
Our vision of a perfect skin care routine, our creativity in the development of new products, as well as our constant innovative strength make us a competent partner for retail chains and retail companies in Germany and abroad. According to our customers` needs and wishes, we create individual brands and offer full service – from the development to the production and packaging of the cosmetic products. Our flexible way of operation allows us to react quickly to current trends to enable a high-quality and efficient manufacture of creams, gels, lotions, and much more.
As a developer, manufacturer and supplier of cosmetic products we bear a great responsibility for the safety and protection of people and the environment. That is why we are constantly investing in new technologies in order to be able to offer a continually high-class product quality. In all areas of our company, we are guided by a concept of suistainability and have been a climate-neutral company since 2020.
